A practical lesson library
Open, task-based lessons for first-time learners of any age. Start with the three pilot drafts and follow the steps without a learner account.
Find something to learn ↗
A table, a useful task, and room to practice together. This page explains the formats we’re developing, what a first session would look like, and what has to be in place before one opens.
Open, task-based lessons for first-time learners of any age. Start with the three pilot drafts and follow the steps without a learner account.
Find something to learn ↗Small sessions focused on one useful skill. A suitable host and facilitator would help people see the details, try the task, and ask questions.
Explore hosting a pilot ↗Practice for families and mixed generations. Demonstrate beside one another, swap roles, and try again at home with a simple practice sheet.
Explore helping learners ↗A proposed first session could practice tying a square knot around a light gift bundle. It is a manageable format to rehearse before adding cooking or other tasks with different safety needs.
Explore the pilot lessonName the task, look at the result, and check that everyone has what they need.
Demonstrate closely, then pause for each learner to try a manageable move.
Notice where help was needed. Repeat the task and talk about what feels clearer.
Leave with the written steps and one thing to try again this week.
No date exists yet. The formats on the workshops page are proposals, and a first session will be announced only when a host, facilitator, reviewed directions, materials and a supervision plan are confirmed.
Undecided. Costs or free access, capacity and registration will be published together with any real session, not before.
Possibly, and that is the most useful thing a partner could offer right now. Read the partner page for what a pilot needs and prepare a draft inquiry.
