Help make
useful learning possible.
Share a space, share a skill, or help remove a barrier. Choose the path that fits what you can offer, see what it would involve, and prepare a draft inquiry.
Three paths
Help shape a pilot, offer a suitable space, or tell us about a learning need in your community.
- Describe the people you serve and one everyday skill they ask about.
- Offer a table, a room, or a regular slot where a small group could practice.
Show a skill you know well, support a session, or help check that a lesson reads clearly to a beginner.
- Demonstrate one everyday task beside a learner, slowly, with the easy-to-miss detail visible.
- Read a pilot lesson as a first-timer and tell us where you needed a closer look.
Explore helping with materials, access, or future sponsorship once the organization’s structure is confirmed.
- Materials for a first pilot: soft cord, empty boxes, printed lessons.
- Access support so sessions can be free or low cost for people who need that.
Honest about
the next step.
- 01
You prepare a draft
Choose a path, write a few lines, copy or download the text. It stays with you.
- 02
We connect a destination
When a contact inbox and privacy handling exist, this page will send instead of draft, and will say so.
- 03
We agree the details first
Roles, supervision, access and costs are agreed in writing before any session or contribution is announced.
Before you write.
Can my organization host a pilot?
Possibly, and that is the most useful thing a partner could offer right now. Read the partner page for what a pilot needs and prepare a draft inquiry.
How do I contact The Skool of Life?
Email eric@theskooloflife.com. The get involved pages also prepare a draft you can keep and send yourself; they do not send anything.
Can I suggest a lesson?
Yes. Prepare a volunteer or partner draft and describe the everyday task you wish someone would show you. The library’s “What could come next?” lists are shaped by exactly those questions.
What is agreed before a volunteer works with children?
Roles, time, who you work alongside, and any screening, safeguarding and onboarding that applies. None of this is set up yet, which is why the volunteer page prepares a draft rather than enrolling anyone.
Can I donate?
Not yet. No payment or donation system is connected, the organization’s legal structure is not confirmed, and no tax-deductibility is claimed. The supporter page explains what could be discussed once those facts are in place.
