What this site
measures.
A plain account of visit measurement on the public site and of what the inquiry form does.
Visit measurement
Vercel Web Analytics counts page visits. It does not set cookies.
Google Analytics 4 measures visits and how pages are used on some pages, listed below. It sets Google cookies, and Google processes the data.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. Neither tool runs on private preview addresses.
Google Analytics 4 runs only on pages written for adults and organizations: About, Workshops & programs, Get involved (all three paths), Questions and this Privacy page. It never loads on the home page, the Learn, lesson and collection pages, Learning notes, or the Kids & families and activity pages, because those are written for learners, including children. Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies, counts visits on every page.
On those pages, Google Analytics 4 records each click on the email link. It does not see the message you write.
Learner and kids pages
The home page and the Learn, lesson, Learning notes, Kids & families and activity pages (/learn/, /lessons/, /kids/, /activities/, /notes/) set no cookies and load no scripts from other sites. They do not ask for, store or send personal information.
Each visit to these pages is counted by Vercel Web Analytics without cookies. The count records the page address without anything after the question mark, so words typed into the lesson search and the filters you choose are not sent. If you arrive from another website, the count also records that website’s address.
The motion setting is kept for the open browser tab only and is cleared when the tab closes.
Accounts and the inquiry form
There are no accounts and no child profiles. The inquiry form prepares a draft on your device and sends nothing, so nothing you type there reaches us or either measurement tool. Ticking a checklist or choosing a reading mode is not saved.
